   Do  you  like  my  lesson last  day? I  hope  you  will  enjoy it..... Today  we will learn  about  Articles.

Did  you  know  how  many  Articles  that  we  have?

   Good !! There  are  three  Articles  that  we must  know. They are  a, an  and  the. Today I will teach  you  two  Articles. They  are  ‘a’  and  ‘an’

   There are the indefinite article and the definite article. The definite article are ‘a’ and ‘an’.It is because it does not refer to any particular person or thing that we are talking about.

A) A is used before words beginning with consonant sounds.

Examples :

                        a bike 

                        a pear 

                      a bread 

                     a bus  

B) An is used before words beginning with vowel sounds       
  ( a,e,i,o,u ) and  silent ‘h’

Examples :

                   an apple 

                   an orange 

                    an aeroplane 

                  an air-balloon
